The Tech Stack
For the technically curious, here's how this site is built:
- Frontend: React 18 with TypeScript, Vite, and TailwindCSS
- Backend: Node.js with Express
- Storage: SQLite for local caching
- Hosting: Self-hosted on a VPS
External activity is refreshed in the background and cached locally. Web mentions are discovered through a private, self-hosted search service. Pages and articles are maintained as Markdown files.
